Waitete Sawmills Limited is a privately owned New Zealand company and operates a Radiata Pine sawmill located in Te Kuiti, a town in the central North Island of New Zealand.

We focus on producing high quality Radiata Pine products milled from pruned logs sourced from sustainable plantations.

We welcome domestic and export customers and can offer them a range of appearance grade timber products that are specific to their requirements and consistently of top quality. We are committed to working alongside our customers to ensure they get the best possible product and service available.

Production Equipment

Sawmill

We operate a Isles Forge vertical band saw, a Forano vertical resaw and a Villach horizontal saw and continue to upgrade technology to ensure improvements in cutting accuracy and efficiency.

Drying

We have 5 computer controlled Windsor 60m3 low temperature kilns. We use our wet sawdust and dry timber shaving residues to heat the kilns.

Planing

Our Weinig Hydromat 2000 Planer ensures a high quality finish on all our machined products.

Machining

We have invested in a Microtec GoldenEye 301 Scanner and an Opti-Kap 3003 Optimiser and therefore can offer extremely accurate cut to length and component products.
